While the first 2 weeks are often the best timeframe to schedule a photoshoot, don’t be frustrated if you miss it. However, because newborns begin to stretch and extend their arms and legs after 2 weeks, more wrapped poses may be used during the newborn photography session to ensure your baby remains comfortable and secure.
At ABC Photography, we understand that not every baby arrives on schedule. We will do our utmost to work with you and accommodate our baby photography services to your newborn’s schedule, despite any early or late arrivals. We also recommend that you let us know as soon as possible after the birth of your child so that we can do our best to adjust your newborn photography session accordingly if necessary.
We recommend wearing white, black, or any neutral colour clothes that you are comfortable in for your baby photoshoot. Rest assured that our photographer will be on hand to guide you and ensure you and your newborn feel relaxed and beautiful throughout the photography session.
To prepare for a baby photoshoot, consider feeding your baby beforehand to keep them content during the session. Bring along any special outfits or props you’d like to include in the photos. It’s also helpful to discuss any specific poses or themes with your photographer beforehand.
